Review of Posture Shirt 2.0 by Active Posture Plus Discount Code

Hey Guys,

Sorry, It’s been a while since I last stretched my blogging muscles but I wanted to tell you all about this new posture shirt which I was kindly gifted by Active Posture for the Purposes of Review.

 

Their clothing is the only posture correcting clothing which is registered by the FDA and claims to reduce neck, back and shoulder pain, stimulate muscles and improve blood flow. It works on similar technology to KT tape which I love but it very difficult to put on yourself and often causes irritation for those in the EDS community so I was very excited to try it.

I had a slight sizing issue to start with. You are sized based on your weight and chest size but since I’ve always been a lot heavier than my frame suggests it wasn’t quite right. I ordered a medium and it felt too roomy. It wasn’t sitting flat and after wearing it for an hour or so (the time it takes to test it out) I wasn’t feeling anything. So I returned it and got a small which was a very simple process.

I ordered the zipper version. This is recommended for anyone with shoulder injuries as it is easier to put on and I think for anyone with EDS that is prone to shoulder dislocations or subluxations it’s the only option. I was a little gutted about the colour range for the zipper option versus the normal and, for reasons I’ll talk about later, I would choose the standard option if my shoulders had allowed me the choice.

I put it to the test at the gym, whilst away on an activity weekend for my boyfriend’s birthday and whilst at home. You can watch my video review to see the shirt in action.

I like to get bad things out the way so I’ll start with the not so positive parts:

Cons:

  • The Zip – When sitting down the shirt zip can pucker a little and when this digs intoDSC_0222[1] you it’s not great but is not a huge problem and wouldn’t stop me buying it hence why I’d choose the standard version if your shoulders will allow as I don’t think it would have the same problem. The zip version also has a tiny corset bit at the bottom which I wasn’t expecting. You get the hang of it quite quickly but not the best option if you really struggle with your hands. I show how to put it on in the video so this might help your decision.
  • Riding up – This did happen a little when I was more active but having it tucked into gym leggings or high-waisted jeans took this problem away easily.
  • Price – It is a little expensive but I would have to say it’s worth it. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks and have already gotten so much use and help out of it. I’ve definitely spent more on less helpful medical aids!

Pros:

  • It washes well and dries quickly. I also wore it playing tennis in the rain (yes, I DSC_0045[1]know I’m mad) but it dried quickly and performed well.
  • You get the support and feeling of KT tape without the difficulty putting it on your back or shoulders (I know I’m bendy but I’m not that bendy :P) or the irritation tape causes your skin.
  • It has helped calm subluxated shoulders in the same way as KT tape.
  • Every time I take it off I want it back on! It gives your joints and back that little bit of extra support and when something is sore you can feel the gentle warming sensation helping the muscles out.
  • After going to the gym I didn’t experience any of the delayed upper body pain, the same cannot be said for my legs. It also really supported my shoulders at the gym and reduced the risk of injury there.
  • It’s super comfortable and breathable. You can wear it with or without a bra. Think it will be great to wear under other clothes in the winter.

Overall, I’m really surprised and impressed with the shirt and how it’s performing and I’m sure I’ll keep you posted in my vlogs with how it might be improving my posture long term. They also have a range of bras and leggings which I’d definitely be interested in trying in the future.

I want to write my opinion that the cost of car insurance varies from one insurance plan to another, for the reason that there are so many different issues which bring about the overall cost. Such as, the make and model of the car will have a massive bearing on the price tag. A reliable old family automobile will have a less expensive premium over a flashy sports vehicle.

  44. I’ve learned several important things as a result of your post. I might also like to state that there may be situation that you will have a loan and do not need a co-signer such as a Federal government Student Support Loan. However, if you are getting credit through a classic lender then you need to be willing to have a co-signer ready to assist you to. The lenders will certainly base that decision on the few aspects but the biggest will be your credit worthiness. There are some loan merchants that will furthermore look at your work history and make up your mind based on this but in most cases it will be based on on your score.
