Staying Cool

Getting too hot is a massive trigger for my POTS symptoms. Managing heat intolerance and staying cool during hot weather can be tricky, but these hacks can make a big difference:

Staying Hydrated

Stay hydrated with plenty of water or ice lollies if drinking feels difficult.

Portable Air Conditioning Unit

The Avalla S-550 has been a game-changer for me, providing a consistently cool space to manage POTS symptoms and improve sleep. It’s on wheels so you can move it from room to room and it also doubles as a dehumidifier for the colder months. You can use code ChronicallyJenni10 for 10% off.

Instant Ice Packs

Keep instant ice packs in your bag for quick cooling relief when you’re out and about. I always keep one in my flare up bag in case of injury or if I need cooling relief on the go.

This dual-purpose gadget is a favourite for cooling down, and my dog Coco loves it too!

Koldtec Headache Halo

Store these in the freezer to help cool down and soothe headaches. The specially engineered ice doesn’t produce condensation, so you stay dry while cooling off. It is amazingly comfortable to wear. I have slept in it many times. I have had mine for years and have only needed to replace the ice once. Use code JENNSAVE10 for $10 off

Mini Fridge

A mini fridge in your bedroom or other comfy space is perfect for keeping drinks and breakfast items close by on hot days. I also keep moisturiser in there which can be a lovely cooling relief on your face.
